What you need

  • An ID document for Tpay identity verification (KYC)
  • A phone number and an email address
  • Business details (Business) or personal details (Private individual)
  1. Choose your legal tier

During registration you choose whether you act as a Business (a registered company) or a Private individual (filing on your own). Both tiers can offer the same professions — the choice only changes the details you submit and how you file.

Your legal tier locks the moment you start Tpay identity verification (KYC) — changing it afterwards requires contacting support.

Legal tier choice screen: business or private individual.
This choice locks once Tpay verification starts.
  2. Submit your documents for review

Depending on your profession, submit the matching documents — such as a professional licence number, diploma, or an RPWDL registry entry — from the catalog of document types Opieko accepts, and declare that you hold OC liability insurance. Before your profile becomes visible to organizers, Opieko's team reviews these documents and qualifications — this is an administrative review, not licensing or insurance verification.
  3. Complete Tpay identity verification (KYC)

To accept payments, open the activation link Tpay sends you and set a password for Tpay's panel. Inside Tpay's Merchant Panel you'll upload an ID document and complete identity verification (KYC) — Opieko never sees or stores your document scans. See Tpay support for the details of the process.
  4. Add your bank account (IBAN) in the Tpay panel

In the same Tpay panel, you enter the bank account Tpay settles your payouts to. A Polish IBAN starts with the letters PL and has 28 characters (PL + 26 digits) — check it carefully before saving. Find a step-by-step guide in Tpay support.
  5. Wait for both gates to clear

Your profile becomes fully active only once two independent gates both clear: Opieko admin's document review and Tpay identity verification (KYC). The status screen shows both separately, and they can finish at different times — only once both come back positive does your profile become visible to organizers and can you start taking bookings.

The two gates are independent — your account is not fully active until each one clears.
Can I change my legal tier after verification starts? +

No — your legal tier locks as soon as you start Tpay identity verification (KYC). Choose carefully before you continue.

Who reviews my documents? +

Opieko's admin team reviews your documents and qualifications, and Tpay alone runs identity verification (KYC). Both must pass before your profile becomes visible to clients.

Can I fix my details after I pass verification? +

Editing your legal details or documents after you pass verification requires submitting a revision request — your profile then goes back through review before it's fully active again.
