The organizer and the care recipient
The account belongs to the person organizing care — usually a close family member. The care recipient, the person who actually receives the visit, is a separate profile: you add them on their own and book visits for them.
What it costs
The rate you see while searching already includes Opieko's commission (15%) — no extra fees appear at checkout.
Safety
Before a caregiver profile goes live, Opieko reviews the submitted documents and qualifications, and Tpay runs the identity verification (KYC) payouts require. Chat messages sent before payment pass through a filter that hides contact details, and payment goes to a licensed payment operator, not directly to the caregiver. This is an administrative review, not a guarantee of quality or availability.
